Pennington Marsh - 27th April

A short wander at Pennington Marsh on 27th April produced Common Tern, Little Tern, Sedge Warbler and Cuckoo new for the year. There were good numbers of waders present with four Whimbrel, 25 Bar-tailed Godwit, c.300 Dunlin, 25 Knot, 35 Grey Plover and 25 Ringed Plover.  While the first Swift arrived over Romsey.
